WH (Luftwaffe) Wehrpass/award-document grouping - Flakrgt.231 - Horn

This grouping belonged to Konrad Horn who served within several Flak units from 1936 to 1944.

Horn was dismissed from military service on 7-2-1944 (apparently because of malfunctioning).

He was trained for the 2cm Flak 30.

The "Gefechtskalender" is only flled-in for 1940 but should have been quiet long since Horn earned 4 awards. There are no award-entries entered in the WP.

Horn was awarded the EK II.Kl. on 30-1-42 (which award-document is signed by Generalmajor Richard Reimann).

There are also the award-documents for resp. the Kampfabzeichen der Flakartillerie (which is dated 10-3-1942), for the Ostmedaille (dated 1-9-1942 and signed by the regimental commander) and finally for the Verw.Abz.in Schw. (as dated 4-2-1943).

Horns unit (the "Flakrgt.231") was involved in bitter fighting and this grouping shows the "real been there look". I deem that I have priced this group according to its worn condition.
