Award document grouping WH (Heer) - 121.Inf.Div.- Milbrodt

Award document grouping of "Unteroffizier" Willy Milbrodt who served within Gren.Rgt.408 of the 121.Inf.Div.

1) "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen" (silver) in a great A4 size issue dated 23-8-1941 and signed by the "Oberstleutnant" and regimental commander.

2) BWB award document dated 2-2-1942 and issued at Zegrze-Nord (Russia) and signed by the battalion commander.

What makes this document far above average is the fact the name has been corrected (as seen often) and officially been "bescheinigt" stated by a "Oberleutnant" with a stamp to clear any confusion.

3) EK I citation dated 3-4-1943 and signed by "Genralmajor" Hellmuth Prieß (RK 7-3-1944)
Prieß was KIA in the area of "Hasenrode" (East Prussia) on 21. Oktober 1944.

4) SWB award document dated 20-4-1943 and signed by a "Oberleutnant".

5) "Nahkampfspange" (bronce) citation dated 13-6-1944 and signed by the regimental commander,"Oberstleutnant"?.

6) "Bericht über den Feldzug in Frankreich" ( France campaign report)

7) Several official reports concerning Milbrodts death ( he was hit multiple by a Russian machinegun in Narwa ) and buried at the "Heldenfriedhof" Dorpat..

8) Postcard picture of Milbrodt.

Great and sad Wolchow/Courland grouping!
