Rare luxurious presentation book by du Prel & Janke: "Die Niederlande im Umbruch der Zeiten" with original signature of Arthur Seyss-Inquart!

Extremely hard to find limited edition book in this form.

Covered with genuine bleuish-/black leather with gold printed text still in its original cardboard cover.

The book is dated 1942 and published on behalf of Dr.Seyss -Inquart to make clear in what way The Netherlands (die Niederlande) showed similarity to the Germans and Germany since 1648.

This specific example was given to a select number of people who paid a tribute to create this book and shows therefore an original signature of Arthur Seyss-Inquart who was "Reichskommissar der Niederlande".

He was sentenced to death at the Neurnberg trials because of his responsibilities for the war-crimes during the occupation of the Netherlands.

This book was taken from the personel library of Seyss Inquart in The Hague in 1945 confirmed by the handwritten note in the book.
