Wehrpaß/ 'Wehrmacht-Fahrlehrerschein' (driving instuctor I.D.) - WH (Heer) - 3.Pz.Div. - Baumgärtner

Wehrpaß of "Stabsgefreiter" Paul Baumgärtner who served within several different panzer unit related units.

The Wehrpaß itself has been signed by "Generalmajor" Gerhardt when Baumgärtner was enlisted in 1936.

After Baumgärtner had been in Poland ,he participated in one of the lesser known air-landing operations (operation NiWi which stands for Nives-Witry) on 10-5-1940 in the region Neufchateau ,Bastogne ,Martelange.

Great and never seen before entry on the "Gefechtskalender"!!

Baumgärtner has been in many actions afterwards as can be seen on the unusual long battlelist.

Baumgärtner was awarded the KvK II m.Schw. ,the "Ostmedaille" ,and the "Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen in Silber"

The Wehrpaß comes with the 'Wehrmacht-Fahrlehrerschein' (driving instuctor I.D.) of Baumgärtner.

Although the original entry photo of Baumgärtner has been replaced a very unusual Wehrpaß!!
