Citation grouping WH (Heer) - "Festung Dünkirchen" - Kraft

Rare and interesting citation grouping of "Hauptmann" Erich Kraft who served within Schw.(heavy) Res.Art.Abt.70 (which was destroyed in France end of 1944)

Kraft served under command of the 226.Inf.Div. which occupied the "Festung Dünkirchen" till 4-5-1945!!


1) "Deutsche Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen" citation of Kraft.

2) Promotion document (Artillerieführer Dünkirchen) of Kraft which promotes him to "Hauptmann"

3) EK I citation which has been issued at "Dünkirchen" and which has been signed by "Vizeadmiral" Friedrich Frisius (DKiG 16-9-1944), chief of "Festung Dünkirchen".

It is slightly smaller than standard A5 award citationsmeasuring only 13 x 17.5 cm. Given its unique size and format is quite likely a variant produced by the surrounded authorities.

4) KvK II M.Schw. citation which has been issued at "Dünkirchen" and which has been signed by "Vizeadmiral" Friedrich Frisius (DKiG 16-9-1944), chief of "Festung Dünkirchen".
