Citatiion grouping of "Gefreiten" Helmut Mette who seems to have been serving in all kinds of units since at least 1935.

Of extra interest is the "Ergänzungsblatt" (supplement) because of the promotion to "Oberjüngzügführer"!

2) "Führerausweis" of "Bann 135 Mark".

3) "SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze" certificate.

4) "Deutsche Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen" citation of Mette as he served within the RAD

5) "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber" citation of Mette serving by then in Inf.Rgt.454 of the 254.Inf.Div.

The document has been signed by the regimental commander ,"Obertsleutnant"?

6) SWB citation which has been issued at Res.Lazarett Innsbruck.

7) Very unusual "Ärmelband Afrika" citation of Mette while serving within Kampfstaffel O.B.der Panzer Armee Afrika!

The document has been signed by the school commander of the "Uffz.Lehrgang der Panzertruppe" in the rank of "Oberst" Gerhard Wendenburg (RK 15-08-1940).
