Soldbuch and citations of "Obergefreiter" Werner Schmidt who served within various Flak related units.

1) Soldbuchof Schmidt who served since July 1942 under command/within "Fliegerführer Afrika" and managed to be awarded the EK II and the "Ärmelband Afrika" by then besides the "Tätigkeitsabzeichen der Flakartillerie" (not for service in Africa).

The EK II was handed out by "Generalmajor" Müller and the "Ärmelband Afrika" by "GFM" Albert Kesselring !!!!!

The Soldbuch shows Schmidt being issued a M.P.40 and a "Nahkampfdolch" in 1945!!! and a seldom seen added "Merkblatt" concerning eatable plants and fruit in cold countries!!

2) "Zweitausfertigung" of the EK II citation which has been issued on behalf of "Der Kommandierende General und Befehlhaber im Luftgau z.b.V.Afrika" "Generalmajor" Müller.

3) "Ärmelband Afrika" cufftitle which has been signed by the commanding officer "Major"?
