Sobel himself was part of the support of this unit as he drove all kinds of vehicles.
Sobel was a qualified "Maultier" driver (half-track)

Sobel was awarded the "Ostmedaille" ,the KvK II m.Schw. and the "Kraftfahrzeugbewährungsabzeichen in Bronze".

After being active in Russia ,Sobel participated in actions in Southern France ,Lorraine ,Ardennes and Remagen!!!!
