Wehrpass / Soldbuch WH (Heer) - Volks-Art.Korps - Bode

Wehrpass and Soldbuch of "Obergefreiten" Walter Bode who served within Volks-Art.Korps (mot) 388.

1) Wehrpass of Bode (photo unfortunately taken out) who served within several different artillery units before he was transferred to Volks-Art.Korps (mot) 388 and operated under command of the XII.SS-Korps and during the Ardennes Offensive under command of the I.SS-Panzerkorps.

Bode was awarded the "Ostmedaille" ,the KvK II ,the EK II and the SWB

During the "Battle of the Bulge" (Wacht am Rhein) , Bode was hit by shrapnel in Luzemburg.

2) "Zweitschrift" Soldbuch which shows also 1 "Sturmtag and 2 "Nahkampftage"

3) "Ostmedaille" citation which has been signed by the commanding officer.
