Rare commemorative book entitled: "Batterie Noordwijk" 1941 - Holland - coastal defence

This neat and great condition commemorative book was presented as a unique Christmas-gift for the year 1941 and was merely presented to the crew-members of the: "Küstenartillerie-Batterie" (ie. coastal defence battery) situated in the town of Noordwijk (Holland).

The "Batterie Noordwijk" was part of the: "M.A.A.201" (Marine-Art.Abt. 201) and held only about 180 crew-members.

The book gives in more than 50 pages a perfect and very interesting view into the construction and daily life of the crew.

The book has a cover which is executed in artificial leather having a gold-printed text on its front.

The fact that the crew numbered only 180 members (and assuming that all got a copy) makes these very attractive books with certainty rare.
