Heissenstein served in Lappland and Norway and was awarded the KvK II m.Schw. ,the EK II and the "Lapplandschild" for his efforts.

The "Lapplandschild" award was issued not earlier than 8-7-1945 and was stamped with swastika still present!!

The most unusual entry in this Soldbuch is without any doubt the "Nahkampfmesser"!!!!!!
