Soldbuch and citation grouping of "Gefreiten" Anton Frank who served wihin Gren.Rgt.419 of the 125.Inf.Div.

1) Unfortunately incomplete (page 1,2,3,4,13,14,23 are missing) of Anto Frank

Frank was awarded the "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber" ,the EK II ,the EK I ,the BWB and the "Kubanschild"!!

The Soldbuch has an added 7 days closecombat list!

"Tarnnetz" (camo net) and "Tragegestell" entry

2) "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber" citation which has been signed by "Oberst" and regimental commander Helmut Friebe (RK 13-8-1941,DKiG 16-1-1942)

What makes this citation extraordinary is the fact that on the back the "Begründung der Verleihung" (reason for award) has been typed-out.

This is a rarely seen addition!

3) EK I citation which has been signed by "Oberst" and meanwhile divisional commander Helmut Friebe (RK 13-8-1941,DKiG 16-1-1942)

Comes with a letter of an uncle who congratulates Anton with his EK I

Although far from perfect and incomplete ,a great grouping!!
