Interesting and unusual citation grouping of "Schützen" Heinz Philipps who was convicted by "Feldkriegsgericht" due to undermining behaviour to serve in Inf.Btl.z.b.V.561 which was a penalty unit! (or 3 years correctional center)

1) EK II citation which has been signed by "Generalleutnant" and commander of the 21.Inf.Div. Gerhard Matzky (RK 5-4-1944)

2) GWB (5 x)!!! citation which has been signed by the commanding officer

3) "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber" citation which has also been signed by the commanding officer.

4) "Nahkampfspange I Stufe" (bronce) citation which has been signed by the commanding officer.

This great grouping comes with an official document (1946)! which states that Philipps has been fully rehabilitated since he proved bravery in front of the enemy and was wounded 5x!

Interesting and not often seen German WW II history!
