Soldbuch - WH (Heer) - 126.Inf.Div. - Rein

Soldbuch of "Grenadier" Joseph Rein who served within Stabskomp.Gren.Rgt.426 of the 126.Inf.Div.

Rein was awarded the "Ostmedaille" ,the EK II ,the BWB ,the EK I ,the SWB ,the "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen" and the GWB!!!!! for his brave efforts during the many fightings under command of "Heeresgruppe Nord" and "Kurland" (Courland)

Probably due to the fact Rein was in hospital since 3-3-1945 ,Rein has not been awarded the "Kurland" cuff!?

Rein was also in the "race" for the "Nahkampfspange in Bronze" but with 13 days he lacked 2 days to be awarded.

Hard to imagine Rein was only "Grenadier" for all of his service and it might be possible there are entries lost due to moisture (I do not think so but it is hard to imagine Rein was not promoted few times due to his great bravery?!)
