Soldbuch WH (Heer) - 36.Inf.Div./ 15.Pz.Gren.Div. - Farin

1) Soldbuch of (late) "Oberleutnant" (promoted on 1-4-1944) Ernst Farin who served within Inf.Rgt.87 of the 36.Inf.Div. and finally within Pz.Gren.Rgt.104 of the 15.Pz.Gren.Div.

The Soldbuch deals with Farins period serving within Inf.Rgt.87 of the 36.Inf.Div. as it was replaced by a new Soldbuch on 20-11-1942.

Farin was awarded the "Schützwall-Ehrenzeichen" ,the EK II ,the "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Bronze" ,the EK I ,the BWB ,the "Ostmedaille" (sofar entered in Soldbuch) and las but not least ,the "Nahkampfspange" and finally the DKiG (10-8-1944)!!

2) "Vorschlag" (proposal) to be promoted to "Oberleutnant" as Farin served as "Kompanieführer" within Pz.Gren.Rgt.104 of the 15.Pz.Gren.Div.

The "Vorschlag" (proposal) showes a nice detailed overview with all interesting details about Farins military career uptill his service in Italy with the 15.Pz.Gren.Div.

The "Vorschlag" has also been signed by "Generalleutnant" and divisional commander of the 15.Pz.Gren.Div. Eberhardt Rodt (RK 25-6-1940 ,DKiG 23-8-1942 , EL 28-4-1945) !!

Altogether a very nice Soldbuch of a great veteran "Kompanieführer" who has seen lots of action in Russia and the "Westfront"!!
