"Waffen-SS" citation grouping of "SS-Rottenführer" Ernst Hanssen who served within SS-Pol.Art.Rgt. of the SS-Polizei.Div.

1) Slightly cut "Ostmedaille" citation which has been signed by "SS-Hauptsturmführer" and regimental commander Erhard Mayer (DKiG 24-3-1945)

2) BWB citation which has been signed by "Oberst" and regimental commander Fritz Schmedes (DKiG 10-6-1943,Ehrenblattspange 25-6-1943 ,Ehrenring 4-3-1944)
Schmedes was recommended for the KC while commanding 4.SS-Polizei Div. but finally not approved by H.H.

3) EK II citation which has been signed by "SS-Gruppenführer und Generalleutnant" and divisional commander Alfred Wünnenburg (RK 15-11-1941 ,EL 23-4-1942)!!
