Soldbuch ,citations and photoalbum of "Feldwebel" Eberhard Hoffmann who served within Stab/Kampfstaffel Panzer A.O.K. Afrika.

1) "Zweitschrift" Soldbuch of Hoffmann.

Hoffmann entered Africa on 17-3-1942 and was awarded the EK II ,the "Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze" ,the "Italienische Erinnerungsmedaille" ,the "Ärmelband Afrika" and the BWB

Although page 3 and 4 have been removed (most probably during captivity in the U.S.)

2) EK II citation which has been handed out at the "Gefechtsstand" of Stab/Kampfstaffel Panzer A.O.K. Afrika.
The citation bears the stamped signature of "Generalfeldmarschall" and "Oberbefehlshaber der Panzerarmee Afrika" ,Erwin Rommel (

On the back is the statement for the EK II award.
Hoffmann kept communication working under most difficult circumstances!

3) "Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze" citation of Hoffmann as he served within "Kampfstaffel der Deutsch-Italienische Panzerarmee" ("Panzerarmee Afrika" was redesignated in "Deutsch-Italienische Panzerarmee")
The citation has been issued at the "Armee Gefechtstand" and has been signed by "Oberst" Hermann Schulte-Heuthaus (RK 23-1-1942)

4) "Reichssportabzeichen" citation booklet.

5) "Wehrmacht-Führerschein" with Hoffmann shown in black panzerwrapper.

6) Small album with 43 (most 8,5 x 12 cms.)

7) A very curious glas container with "Wüstensand von El-Alamein-Afrika 1941/,43" (desert sand from El-Alamein-Africa 1941/,43)
