Wehrpass - WH (Heer) - 282.Inf.Div. - Hermann

Wehrpass of "Oberleutnant" Herbert Hermann who served within severla different units before ending up within (Pz.Jg.)Gren.Rgt.848 of the 282.Inf.Div.

Hermann was trained in the use of the "P.B.-Panzerbüchse" ,among other weaponry.

Hermann was awarded the EK II ,the "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen" ,the EK I ,the BWB and the "Deutsches Schützwall-Ehrenzeichen".

Besides the fact Hermann was of a very brave officer ,the entry of page 34 is very unusual as Hermann was wounded due to "Zersplitterung des linken? dürch Kolbenschläge" (fragmentation of the left ? by rifle butt hits)!!!!!!

Hermann was KIA on 12-8-1943 near Belgorod.
