Weirich was awarded the KvK II m.Schw. ,the "Ostmedaille" ,the "Erinnerungsmedaille an den deutsch-italienischen Feldzug in Afrika" and the "Ärmelband Afrika" for his efforts during the service in Latvia ,Russia ,Tunisia ,Sardinia and Russia.

This unit was equipped with the Hs129 and developed for tank hunting!! and was equipped with the Focke Wulf 190 "Panzerblitz" since January 1945.
