Kruppke was awarded the "Ostmedaille" ,the KvK II m.Kl. and the BWB.

The last unit Kruppke served in was: Art.Rgt.1080 of the 180.Inf.Div. which participated in fightings at Venlo/Netherlands and finally at Wesel/Germany before it was defeated in the "Ruhr" pocket.
