Soldbuch and citations of "Oberfähnrich der Reserve" Heinrich Watermann who served finally within Gren.Rgt.953 of the 361.VGD.

1) Soldbuch of Watermann who was awarded the "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen" ,the BWB and the EK II for his efforts during the fightings in Russia.

The Soldbuch shows a 5 day "Nahkampftage" list of fightings in Russia.

What exactly happened to Watermann is unclear?
Most probably he was taken POW in the "Saarpfalz".

2) "Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen" citation which has been signed by "Oberst" and regimantal commander (I.R.184) Otto Schünemann ("Ehrenblattspange" 28-8-1941,RK 20-12-1941,DKiG 11-2-1943,EL 28-11-1943) !!!

Schünemann was KIA on 29-6-1944 at Pagost (Russia)

3) EK II citation which has been signed by "Generalleutnant" and divisional commander Siegmund Freiherr von Schleinitz (DKiG 26-12-1941,RK 14-8-1943)
