Soldbuch - KM - U996 - Orglmeister

"Zwieischrift" Soldbuch of "Maschine Obergefreiter" Rudolf Orglmeister who served as "Dieselgast" (diesel engine maschinist) on the U-995 (type VII C) of the 14.U-Flottille.

Orglmeister was awarded the "U-Bootsabzeichen" on 25-3-1945 and participated in several missions and sunk 6 ships.

The U-995 was used by the Norwegian marine ,named "Kaura" and was given to the "Bundesmarine" and is nowadays situated in front of the monument at Laboe (Kiel)!!!!!

The U-995 was stationed in Norway and commanded by Hans-Georg Hess (RK 11-2-1945)

The Soldbuch comes with a great photocard of "Oberleutnant zur See der Reserve" Hans-Georg Hess (RK 11-2-1945).

Although Soldbuch is missing the photo and loose to cover ,a great historical item!
