Wehrpass - WH (Heer) - 62.Inf.Div. - Schmidt

Wehrpass of "Gefreiten" Max Schmidt who served within few different units ,mainly within the 62.Inf.Div.

Schmidt was awarded the BWB.

Interesting to see is that Schmidt was reported MIA during combat on 30-10-1943 in Ukraine although regarding the Wehrpass "zurück zur Truppe" (back to unit) on 15-9-1943?!

Schmidt was finally KIA on 4-3-1944 in Russia.

Not often seen MIA and back to troops Wehrpass !
