Soldbuch and citation grouping of "Unteroffizier" Jakob Eichhorn who served within K.G. 55.

1) Soldbuch of Eichhorn which lacks unfortunaely the photo of Eichhorn and front eagle.

Eichhorn served within K.G.55 "Greif" and participated in supply flights for the Stalingrad cauldron!

Eichhorn was awarded the "Fliegerschützen-Abzeichen" ,the "Frontflugspange Bronze" ,the EK II ,the "Frontflugspange Silber" ,the "Ostmedaille" and the EK I.!!!

1) "Fliegerschützen-Abzeichen" citation which bears the stamped signature of "General der Flieger" the document bears the stamped signature of "‘Der Chef des Luftwaffenpersonnalamts’‘ in thr rank of "General der Flieger" Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf (2-2-1881 - 4-5-1945), who was a career ‘Luftwaffe’ general-officer who was awarded the German Cross in Silver (or ‘DkiS’) on 26-7-1943, being a ‘General de Flieger und Chef des Luftfwaffe Personalamts RLM’)

2) "Frontflugspange Bronze" citation which has been issued at the "Gefechtsstand" and which has been signed by "Oberst" and "Geschwaderkommodore" Dr.Ernst Kühl ("Ehrenpokal",DKiG 21-8-1942 ,RK 17-10-1942,EL 18-12-1943)


3) EK II citation which has been singed by "Der Kommandierende General des VIII.Fliegerkorps" and "Generalleutnant" Martin Fiebig (RK 8-5-1940,DKiG 4-5-1942,EL 23-12-1942)

Fiebig was sentenced to death and executed in 1947 for warcrimes in Yugoslavia.
