Citation grouping - WH (Heer) - 8.Pz.Div./ SS-Fschj.Batl.600 - Ehrhardt

Citation grouping of "Grenadier" Joachim Ehrhardt who served within Pz.Gren.Rgt.28 of the 8.Pz.Div.

1) BWB citation which has been handed out at "Kriegslazarett" 4/685 in Pless (Pszczyna/Poland).

2) "Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze" citation which has been handed out "Im Osten" and which has been signed by "Oberstleutnant" and regimental commander ?

3) Promotion to "Gefreiten" due to "Tapferkeit vor dem Feinde" (bravery in front of the enemy).

What makes this smal grouping very interesting is the fact that the promotion has been nominated by "SS-Hauptsturmführer" ? who served within "Kampfgruppe Solar" which operated under command of SS-Fschj.Btl.600 !!! who seems to have taken over command of Ehrhardts unit.

Very unusual grouping !
