Leingärtner was killed as he flew as a passenger on board of a Ju.52 on 11-4-1944.
The signature above the “Geschwaderkommodore” is Major Horst Kaubisch (RK: 16-11-1942, EL: 24-06-1944, DKiG: 10-07-1942, Ehrenpokal: 19-01-1942). Killed in February 1945.
