Soldbuch WH (Heer) - 116.Pz.Div. - aka "Windhund" Division - Vesly

Soldbuch of "Obergefreiter" Johann Vesly who served within (gp) Pz.Gren.Rgt.60 of the 116.Pz.Div. aka "Windhund" Division.

Vesly was handed out a new Soldbuch on 27-11-1944 due to circumstances which made the first issue unusable.

Vesly got wounded by the end of December 1944 (although no BWB entered) during the fightings around Aachen.

What makes this Soldbuch of extra interest is the fact that the entry which allows Vesly to wear the "Windhund Traditionsabzeichen" (divisional traditional badge) is glued in the back of the Soldbuch!.

This was a zink based badge to be worn at the cap.

The Soldbuch is complete up to page 20.
